Public Health Services work in partnership with individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities to promote and protect health, prevent illness and achieve well being. A team of administrative support, dental hygienists, health educators, home visitors, public health nurses, and nutritionists work together to deliver a wide range of information and services to our communities, including: immunization programs, prenatal classes, vision screening, oral health, nutritional health, tobacco awareness, communicable disease control and much more. The program is a shared service of Cumberland Health Authority, Colchester East Hants Health Authority and Pictou County Health Authority.
